About Morgan

Morgan Henson (he/him) designs programming and helps build community for TAs across L&S. He also works closely with L&S departments to support departmental TA trainings and help departments navigate new and emerging challenges within the college.

Morgan is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology, with a doctoral minor in Political Science. He is passionate about inclusive pedagogy and has been recognized with the 2022 Honored Instructor Award for his teaching excellence.

Outside of work, Morgan is an avid powerlifter who also enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes—his lemon curd cupcakes are finally coming along. When he’s not in the kitchen or the gym, you can find him reading; he and his husband recently discovered they have their own personal library, with over 1,000 books and counting!
