About Us
Mission
L&S TA Training & Support is dedicated to serving Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Lecturer Student Assistants (LSAs) across L&S.
We seek to empower all L&S TAs and LSAs to flourish by providing continuous training and support. We help TAs and LSAs acquire knowledge, skills, and confidence to cultivate engaging, inclusive environments where all students (and teachers!) can thrive as they navigate the challenges and joys of learning. We value TAs and LSAs as whole persons and are dedicated to developing excellent, effective, and empathetic teachers strengthened by sustainable teaching practices.
TA Training and Support is part of the Teaching, Learning, & Academic Planning unit within the College of Letters & Science.
